Evolve, developed by Turtle Rock Studios (famous for their Left 4 Dead series) and published by 2k Games. Evolve is truly the best next generation multiplayer shooter where the players can either choose to take control of a monster or select one of the four Hunters. Dare to make your choice as one of the 4 hunters and take on against a single, player-controlled Monster in an adrenaline-pumping 4 vs 1 matches. Or choose one of the four Hunters from Assault, Trapper, Medic or Support classes and plan your way to take down that blood thirsty beast. While as a Monster, you can use savage abilities and an extra ordinary sense to kill your human enemies but the 4 hunters will always be there with a plan to take you down at every cost. So, either evade and Evolve as a Monster or outsmart as a team of 4 highly skilled hunters to take down your rival. And you can also benefit from your level ups to unlock new set of Hunters and Monsters. Moreover, level ups also unlock several upgrades and skills so as to help you take down your enemy with somewhat ease.

The game involves 4 playing modes:

Hunt: Where the 4 hunters and monster has to compete in a gruesome battle and the one who first destroys its rival, wins the round.
Nest: Where the monster has to save its six eggs from the hunters and later on spawn the little minions to aid him. The first one to save or destroy the eggs within a certain time limit, wins the round.
Rescue: In this mode, the game puts injured colonists in some random order onto the map. As a monster, you have to kill them all or save them as a team of hunters.
Defend: Where as a monster, you have to strike the starship's refueling station and reach its power source or as a team of hunters, defend the station until the ship is fully powered.

Build A Gaming PC that Beats PS4 & Xbox One for Under $500

Want to know how to build a gaming PC that easily beats PS4 & Xbox One? Then here I have provided you all the details on building a much better gaming PC that costs under $500. I will try to keep myself short and would briefly compare all the vital PS4 components with their counter PC parts. However, I would not compare anything about Xbox One, the reason being that PS4 beats it down in almost every aspects. Hence, this whole article would feature the steps on how to build a PS4 like PC which easily beats the Sony's boastful PlayStation 4. I have also provided the direct best buy link for all the parts pertaining to the gaming PC which we are going to build. Now, let's build our budget gaming PC to defeat the PS4.

PS4 Graphics card stats and its Minimum PC Counter Part

A graphics card strength is calculated on the basis of its Pixel fill rate, Texture fill rate, Memory specs and the maximum theoretical peak performance (calculated in GFLOPS or TFLOPS) it can provide. Upon retrieving the PlayStation 4's technical specifications from the official sources, we were only able to gather the following details:
  • Stream Processors: 1152
  • Floating Point Performance: 1843 GFLOPS
  • Memory Clock: 1375 MHz (Hence, Data Rate: 1375 X 4 = 5500 MHz)
  • Memory Bandwidth: 176 GB/sec
  • Render Output Units (ROPs): 32
  • Texture Mapping Units (TMUs): 72
Now, for the accurate PS4 GPU strength predictions, we have to find out all the vital details like Core clock, Pixel fill rate, Texture fill rate and the Memory Interface Width. Let us first find out the Core clock speed of the PS4's GPU. For this, we know that the floating point performance (FLOPS) is calculated as: Stream Processors X 2 X Core clock. So, the Core clock speed will be: GFLOPS / (Stream Processors X 2). Putting all the details, we get Core clock speed of 0.799 GHZ ~ 800 MHZ. For calculating Pixel fill rate, we multiply ROPs with the Core clock speed and for Texture fill rate, we multiply TMUs with the Core clock speed. Hence, the exact Pixel fill rate is 25.6 GP/sec and Texture fill rate will be 57.6 GT/sec. Now let's move on to the complex part - calculation of Memory Interface Width. Memory Interface Width is calculated as: (Memory Bandwidth X 8)/Memory data rate (Taking Memory data rate in GHz and Bandwidth in GB/sec). Upon putting all the details, we get Memory Interface Width to be 256-bit.

So, the complete PS4 graphics card specifications would be:
  • GPU Core Clock: 800 MHz
  • Stream Processors: 1152
  • Floating Point Performance: 1843 GFLOPS
  • Memory Clock: 1375 MHz (Hence, Data Rate: 1375 X 4 = 5500 MHz)
  • Memory Interface Width: 256-bit
  • Memory Bandwidth: 176 GB/sec
  • Render Output Units (ROPs): 32
  • Texture Mapping Units (TMUs): 72
  • Pixel Fill Rate: 25.6 GP/sec
  • Texture Fill Rate: 57.6 GT/sec
Hence, the minimum PC Graphic card required to beat PS4's GPU is ATI Radeon R7 265 DUAL-X GDDR5 which is around 10% faster in performance.

Best Processor, RAM, PSU and Motherboard to beat PS4's Components

Sony's PlayStation 4 is powered by 2 Quad cores which runs on Jaguar architecture. But its 1.6 GHz clock is a deep pitfall, and to balance the overall performance, they used a fairly good GPU. According to me an AMD FX-6300 would be more than enough to beat it. Yeah I know its 6 cores Vs 8 Cores, but believe me AMD FX-6300 would be much faster than the PS4's 2 Quad cores. Hence, AMD FX-6300 is the best processor to beat the PS4's low clocked 8 Cores.

Sony PlayStation 4's CPU is coupled up with high-end 8 GB GDDR5 RAM. But you will do well with 2 X 4 GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 RAM. Use Corsair CX 600 Watt 80 PLUS PSU for the proper power supply and to completely wipe off the chances of bottlenecking your custom build gaming PC. And Yes, don't forget to pair all this with MSI 760GM-P23 (FX) Motherboard. This motherboard can automatically detect the best overclocking settings and thus can greatly increase the overall performance. Moreover, AMD FX-6300 has unlocked cores which means that its 3.5 GHz clock can be overclocked up to 4.2 GHz. And you don't have to worry about doing so manually.

Oh! At last we successfully build up our best gaming PC which is far better than the Sony's PS4 and Microsoft's Xbox One, and still counts under $500.

Grand Theft Auto V System Requirements for PC

Check out the GTA 5 system requirements to see if your gaming rig would handle this game at high settings. GTA 5 is an open world action-adventure game which can either be played from first person or third person view. It has been developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. As GTA 5 is composed of the open countryside San Andreas and the fictional city of Los Santos; so, it has much larger area than its predecessor GTA IV. Like the previous GTA releases, the game allows the players to fully explore its open world. Moreover, unlike GTA 4, this time Rockstar has removed area restrictions, thus allowing players to enjoy its full area from the beginning. And of course, story progression unlocks more gameplay content.

The single-player mode involves three main characters namely Michael De Santa, Trevor Philips and Franklin Clinton. Not to mention, all three of them being criminals. Their stories are interconnected and some missions will only be completed with only one character while others will feature two or all of them. Throughout the single-player mode, players are free to switch between the characters accordingly by means of a directional compass present on their HUD. However, the game may automatically switch between the characters in some missions to complete certain objectives. When a character's compass avatar will flash red then it means he is in danger and needs help, and when it flashes white then it means he has a strategic advantage.

This time Rockstar has added many unique features. One of the unique features is the each character's Set of Eight Skills. These skills (different for every character) represent their certain abilities like shooting and driving. Although players can improve their characters' skills throughout the game but each character has a unique skill with expertise by default. Whether it be Trevor's flying skill, Michael's bullet time, or Franklin's slow motion ability while driving, you will have as much fun as developers had in developing this game.
