Dying Light has been embedded with a dynamic day and night cycle. During the day, the player has to go out and look for supplies so as to send them back to the safe zones. Players can also set up traps or save other survivors and help them make their way to the safe zones. During the dense sun-light, the infected becomes very slow, apathetic, and easily visible, thus allowing the players to simply make their way past them.
